If you read my blog, then you must realize that I am all for adult entertainment... of every kind... as long as its just adults and they are consenting. Who cares if they bring money or not... as long as everyone is in agreement. Now I read an article on law.com, Winging It: GC for Hooters Franchisee Leads Lobbying, Legal Team, about they various legal efforts to open establishments.
The article says,
"A lot of people believe we are adult entertainment when we are not."
Now, since a large focus on the article is about Hooter's obtaining a liquor license... I just wonder who they believe will be buying the beer? 8 year olds? Ah, gee, I guess the minimum drinking age is 21, so that means that it will be ADULTS!
Now, on to the next possible phase of "adult entertainment" the drooling over the big boobs and jiggly tits of their waitresses. The article says:
Among customers, Gessner admits, the uniforms may create a "sexually charged" atmosphere.
Now, it would seem to be that the objective of any adult entertainment business is to do just that... create a sexually charged atmosphere... and then the good establishments will offer a method of release as well!
So, it seems that Hooters is in fact a very poor excuse for "adult entertainment" they may just get you drunk, sexually charged up and send you on your way.
I guess they have the perfect formula for a brothel except their missing the last (and most important) step. I'll leave that to your imagination!
