According to the Adult Video News, room renters in hotels shelled out $550 million in 2006 (the last year data was available) to watch in-room adult entertainment (in other words porn movies).
Here is a funny fact about that though...a former Ritz-Carlton GM says that the average run time for porn flicks viewed through the hotels system was 7 to 10 minutes.
That isn't funny until you figure out that there are a lot of people out there only taking 7 minutes (actually many would be viewings of less than a MINUTE!) to reach the point of absence of "continued need"!
