Don't even think they aren't doing a brisk business in spite of local resident being up in arms about their work attire.
The employees at the out of the ordinary coffee bar work clad in a bikini, and sometimes even topless if they wish. Local women are pissed off and offended and the husbands interviewed of course said they wouldn't be caught patronizing the business in fear their wives would drive by and see them. That is a joke, they probably just go when the wife is getting her hair done.
Mayor Neil Johnson pointed out there were city ordinances to think about. The local government is trying to find some city ordinance the coffee bar is in violation of, so they can find some reason to appease the local women and shut it down. So, just to keep checking it out, they keep going in to buy coffee. They have to get their coffee somewhere honey!
One lady said it shouldn't be allowed because someone may walk in there with their small son unknowing that the barristas were topless. Come on people, do you think there is really anybody in the town that doesn't know the scoop on Cowgirls Espresso? The only ones "accidentally" walking in there will be the governmental officials on their coffee breaks. I wonder if we take a poll, how many of the residents insisting the place be shut down are women who wouldn't be caught dead in a bikini in public?
In light of the current economic crisis that is diminishing the hopes of the entire country, the government should encourage all efforts to by local businesses to be successful. Especially those efforts which leave their customers feeling satisfied.
